I cannot believe how fast these days are going. Walking into down the street, sometimes it feels like I was just here...all the different food, the motorbikes, the kids, the smell in the air.
We have been in this new city for two days and will leave in one more day. The first day we arrived after traveling nearly all day. I was so thankful for free time and chose to get a cheap pedicure and spend a few hours on the beach. Following a morning of rest, we traveled to a leper colony. I did not know what to expect but quickly discovered that most of the kids were children of those infected by leprosy, HIV, or other skin diseases. Even though most of them do not have diseases themselves, they are shunned and treated as if they do. We played several games with the children and met a lady minister to the community who has sacrificed her life for the ministry. She was such a testament to Gods heart for the sick and the outcast...i walked away in awe.
Today we went to a tribal community that was unlike anything I've ever experienced. The people were so hospitable to us even though they were among some of the poorest people I've seen here. I cannot wait to post pictures of the area these people live in. It was one of the most beautiful areas I've been to in this country. The village was a Christian community having faced a lot of persecution and welcomed us with open arms...
After sweating more than I thought was possible, we cleaned up and then went to a high school worship service at a nearby church. Following this, we went to my girl, Tre's home and ate frozen mango (out of this world!!) and then played outside until it was time for dinner. (can't wait to tell you about the dinner dad! should place should be on food network.
Tomorrow I will say goodbye to my favorite 12 year old :(. We have had an absolute blast with her and the rest of the children in this city. Before we leave, we are taking the kids for ice cream and down to the beach! I am excited to hang out and take pictures :)
Cannot wait to give more info but that is all for now! Will attach some pics from the last few days! Thank you so much for your prayers!

God is good! :) Blessings on your last day. <3
